Common questions
Does everyone in my group need Halv?
No. You can add expenses for people who haven't joined yet; they can claim
their spot later and their balances come with them.
Does Halv move money?
No. Halv keeps track of who owes who and simplifies debts so settling takes
as few payments as possible — the actual transfer happens however you and
your friends normally pay each other.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Your data lives on your device and syncs when you're back online, so
you can add expenses at a mountain cabin with no signal.
How do I delete my account?
Email hello@halv.money from your
account address and we'll take care of it. See the
privacy policy for what deletion covers.
